Jack Dorman
Hi, I’m Jack. I grew up in Wink, Texas, a very small west Texas town. I attended the University of Texas in Austin where I graduated with a degree in Mathematics. I began working at Texas Instruments while working on a master’s degree in Computer Science,. While at TI, I worked on advanced mainframe computer systems (Software development). Since that time, I have worked for a variety of companies including, Intel, Tandem, Interactive Systems Corp., SHL system House, and consulted in other settings. I have worked in development, support, managed technical teams, opened new business fronts and project management.
My wife (Debbie Dorman) and I have been part of Hope Chapel, a non-denominational church in Austin, Texas since 1978, serving in various roles, including worship leaders, elder, executive pastor and senior pastor. I have recently stepped down from that role and am beginning to seek new adventures. We have a son, Jeffrey Dorman, who is a musician / computer guy here in Austin. He is now married to Rachel Tuckness Dorman and we are very happy for them and us. We are very happy to have a daughter at last.
